French term or phrase: proposées au marché
This word "marché" is giving me troubles. Here's another sentence:

- Les capacités (hors besoins techniques du XXX et du consommateur de stockage) seront **proposées au marché**

It doesn't seem to make much sense to say "proposed to the market." Maybe to stakeholders...? Can anyone provide some guidance here? Thank you.

I understand this is one valid option, but Richard's was the one that fit the context best. Thanks everyone!

neutral  Richard Benham: This doesn't make a lot of sense. "Proposer" is rarely "propose" (which is not something you do in a contract anyway) and never "specify", and "marché", although it may often be translated as "contract", does not really work in that sense in this context.

agree  CMJ_Trans (X): actually I think this suggestion has a lot of mileage in it. Of course, the context would help but I have seen "proposé au marché" meaning "proposed in the contract" before today
