French term or phrase: réversibilité
PHASE DE REVERSIBILITE

Les objectifs de la phase de réversibilité
En cas de cessation du contrat, les services assurés par (company x) sont repris par (CLIENT) ou confiés à un tiers.
La réversibilité a donc pour but de permettre à (CLIENT) ou à un tiers d’acquérir la connaissance des services et techniques mis en oeuvre, dans le périmètre de la prestation, et le savoir-faire développé dans le cadre du contrat, afin d’assurer la continuité de service dans les prestations fournies.

reversion

Explanation:
I think you could use this here, as in many contexts: the service being provided is going to 'revert' to the client (or a third party)

I don't have specific knowledge of this point / context, just general usage...

Retention of rights

Explanation:
In English, this refers to who retains the rights in the contract. Rights may revert to the customer, but the name of the clause in English and the idea is retention of rights...this is one of those cases where the name of the thing is not always the same as the verbs used in describing it..in French, they talk about rights reverting to the customer, in English, we say the customer retains the right..that sort of thing..check out this reference for the typical structure of a contract..so in translating the idea of reversabilité I would use the retention of rights. You will see if you plug it in, that the sentence will work perfectly well..

cheers

Litigation, on the second edition
