French to English translations [Non-PRO] Social Sciences - Certificates, Diplomas, Licenses, CVs
French term or phrase:*réellement élève"
Again, Belgian certificate issued by Université Libre de Bruxellels, does such an expression exist in English? How would you translate it? "Certified as a student" "Certified attendance" ? I doubt I can use something like "he was actually a student"...
Attendu qu'il a été *réellement* élève à L'ULB ...
It's basically a very official document, with several "vu ... " and " Attendu que..."
"Nous, le Président, Secrétaires .... ;
Vu le reglèment XY sur la collation des grades academiques .... ;
Attendu que M. XY, né à... , est porteur d'un diplome de...;
Attendu qu'il a été réellement élève à l'ULB,...
attendu que ....
Avons conféré et cofnerons à M. XY le grade de ..."
Hope it helps to make it clearer?
