French to English translations [PRO]
Science - Chemistry; Chem Sci/Eng / biosafety and biological products
French term or phrase: manipulation en phase ouverte
"Manipulation en phase ouverte:
Utilisation d’un agent biologique en dehors d’un confinement primaire (Système physiquement clos ou poste de sécurité microbiologique)"

Is this simply open phase handling?
I can't find any sources.

Thanks!

continuous culture manipulation

Explanation:
I thinks they refer to the "continuous culture" technique. WE can have also "batch culture".

Notes to answerer
Asker: Hello Vepalm, this won't work in my context. I believe I will go with open-phase handling (I think it is a question of "uncovered" handling) and flag it . Thanks for your response!
