The context all points to some sort of effluent treatment process or department, though I cannot tell if they have their own station d'épuration. I've put this meaning in the glossary anyway. Thanks Eric and agoreux for your help.

agree  Andrée Goreux: Looks like they are trying out methods to eliminate/recover fluids from the process. So service de traitement et d'élimination des produits would fit. Maybe they tell you what they will do next with the recovered/eliminated products.
