The structure of IX is given (but the double bond should be centred between the R8HN and SNa)
R8HN - - SNa

Cyanoethylene derivative? Cyano substituted ethylene derivative? I've seen éthylénique used just to mean containing a double bond and don't know whether ethylenic is used in the same way in English. Not many Ghits for any of these terms, which is why I'd like to check with chemists - thanks in advance!
