French term or phrase:Un spectacle visuel cousu et dansé
This is the subtitle for a production for young audiences; the story of a seamstress whose dressform comes alive as she sews a costume (the dancer) and becomes a true character.
c’est un dialogue entre le corps et le

Any interesting ideas other than "The Story of a costume and dance?
We don't know how young the audience is. The FR is complex in terms of the ideas presented and makes few concessions itself. In general, I think it best not to patronise a young/perhaps teenage audience. I know when I was young that words held a magic of their own, even when I didn't always understand them.
Yes, I think it has to be short. The story is not really meant to be funny, but magic and enchanting. For the moment I think "The tale of a dancing to life" suits the theme of the show pretty well...we'll see
Explanation: I imagine the strapline is aimed at adults, over the heads of children, so perhaps one can move slightly away from literal and include a little 'clin d'oeil'. I presume the fact there is a dance element emerges later in the text. This sort of posting can become obsessive !
