French term or phrase: "identifier les colonnes du fichier importé vis-à-vis de votre base"
From an operating guide for a database system.
This is a chapter on how to import data from an IT system to a base.
The full sentence is "Vous passez enfin à la dernière étape de cette configuration, où vous allez identifier les colonnes du fichier importé vis à vis de votre base."
The associated screen dump (already translated) says: "Identify the columns of your file in relation with your base". I don't like this at all. I was thinking along the lines of "match the columns in the import file to the fields in your database". Any other ideas? I also found "map the columns..", but am not sure it is the same thing. Thanks for your help!
