French to English translations [PRO] Tech/Engineering - Construction / Civil Engineering / report prior to renovation of a building
French term or phrase:immerger
I wonder if anyone can tell me what 'immerger' means in this sentence. It's from a list of measures that have to be taken following a report on the existing condition of a building prior to renovation work:
**Immerger** le mur coupe feu existant en toiture de 1m.
I thought 'immerger' was immerse or submerge but there doesn't seem to be any liquid involved here. Could it mean 'enfoncer'?
