French to English translations [Non-PRO] Tech/Engineering - Construction / Civil Engineering / House construction
French term or phrase:facon coupe de pierre
This is in a Technical data sheet for concrete products. It is an explanation of how to build up layers on house wall - "pose des panneaux isolants 'facon coupe de pierre' ".
Explanation: I just came across this expression in a French translation I'm doing now, and that's what I've come up with (they set the insulation panels in staggered fashion, like brickwork). I know the answer comes almost 2 years late, but hey - I never came across the expression before and therefore never had a reason to search for it on ProZ!

Asker: thanks very much - as you say, a bit late, but will keep for future reference!
