French term or phrase: "... recartement retrouvant le pas de la piece..."
In the description of a underfloor heating system:

"Les zones de depart a forte concentration de tube, pouvant entrainer localement une surchauffe, seront isolees par gaine de 9mm d'epaisseur entourant le tube jusqu'a recartement retrouvant le pas de la piece"

Well, I'm pretty sure I can see what it means, though I'm not sure I can think how to express it most netaly in English!

If my understanding is correct, it means the too-closely-spaced pipes are lagged where they come out of the header/manifold/whatever, "until the point where they have reached their normal spacing for the room in question"

I hope that gives you some ideas to work from!

Well, I'm pretty sure I can see what it means, though I'm not sure I can think how to express it most netaly in English!
