French term or phrase: impression de motif wax
Info on a line of cosmetics for ladies of African origin.

Context:

"Présentation : une collection riche en couleurs aux inspirations « ethniques chic » et 70’s.
Produits :
deux Fards à Paupières avec des ***impressions de motifs wax***,
deux Fards à Joues soyeux ,
deux Lipshines ultra scintillants,
une nouvelle teinte de Mascara Volume et Allongeant. "

Do you think "motifs wax" refers to the patterns in African wax print fabrics, for example, which are pressed into the eyeshadow when it is in its container to make it look nice? (I imagine it would look sort of like this but with a different design: http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1053/1194545518_ef578adb85.jp...

That's the only thing I can think of that makes any sense, but I am very unsure. What else could this be referring to?

Any suggestions appreciated!

printed with a wax-resist motif
Explanation:
CherryPie, when I lived in Togo, there were materials on the market known as "Wax", traditional West African patterns. I believe that they use a printing block and wax to stop inking other than the motif. But what might this have to do with eyeshadow? Never have used it.....

Perhaps it's the container for the eyeshadow, printed" in traditional wax designs"
