French to English translations [PRO] Bus/Financial - Education / Pedagogy / Catalogue describing business course
French term or phrase:annuité de placement et de remboursement
One item in a list of subjects to be covered in this applied mathematics course.
"• Les emprunts (tableau d’amortissement d’un emprunt, calcul d’annuité de placement et de remboursement)"
I can't seem to find out much about 'annuités de placement' and 'annuités de remboursement', although I think the first is to do with regular payments into an investment (e.g. an endowment, perhaps?) and the second is to do with repayment of a debt/loan. One seems to be payable 'en début de période' and the other 'en fin de période', but I'm not really sure what that means either. EuroDicAutom offers some suggested translations but I'm hesitating because I don't really understand what these terms mean in this context and don't want to put something totally inappropriate down.
