It's a paraphrase but it is clear. But the major/minor system is strictly American yet well -known ...so perhaps it could be an option.:))

I think section C which is a category within the French system can be omitted as it dosn't convey any information to the non French Speaker

agree  katsy: maybe one could debate the relative values of all the subjects studied in this baccalaureat, but the important thing in this diploma is the person got the Baccalaureat -IMO : ) //Today, no, but looks like it was some time ago so, then, most likely yes..:)
