French to English translations [Non-PRO] Tech/Engineering - Electronics / Elect Eng
French term or phrase:circuit de départ
The text is about people booms/cheery pickers.
The whole sentence is:
En plus, pour une intervention sur le circuit électrique, la garantie d'arrêt peut être réalisée par la coupure du circuit de départ de la batterie de démarrage.
So far I have: Moreover, to carry out a procedure on the electrical circuit, stoppage can be guaranteed by cutting the starter battery circuit de départ
So it's just that circuit de départ that is the problem.
Explanation: Actually, it seems rather redundant. Cut that phrase out, and you still get a coupure to the batterie, hence no power and the guarantie d'arret.
Rather than "starter", maybe "primary"?
But nice to see that the pickers are cheery. Poles, no doubt, to go with the booms.
