French term or phrase: concepteur-chargé de gammes
"méthodiste – industrialisateur, concepteur-chargé de gammes, automaticien régulation"

This is a specific job category - I thought it might be some type of process engineer/technician. But 'concepteur' adds some confusion however.

agree  Charles Hawtrey (X): Invented, yes - too exhaustive. "méthodiste–industrialisateur" shows that "gammes" here means manufacturing procedures. "Concepteur" could be 'industrial designer' (GDT). So I'd go for 'Production Engineer - Industrial Designer' or some such.
