French term or phrase:espace de lavage
Les modules comprendront un espace de lavage afin de respecter les rayons de courbures minimums autorisés des câbles à fibres optiques.
I think you'll find it is in fact 'lovage', a specialist term not found in ordinary dictionaires, and which would almost certainly have been corrected to 'lavage' by any standard spell-checker (or even typist!)
This is to do with leaving 'coiling space' so that the fibre optical cables don't have to be bent with too sharp a radius, which might break them.
It would certainly help to know just what type of 'modules' are involved here.
