French term or phrase: charge portée
Looking for the best way to translate this term in the context below (2nd bullet point), taken from an annual report of a company that manufactures military tactical masts and antennas. I think it is simply referring to the range of the masts... but am confused by the 'charge'...which could also suggest load capacity...as some of these devices can support loads of up to 100kg.

Any suggestions would be helpful this appears rather ambiguous to me.

I think they are indeed referring to the load the mast can support, particularly the load it can carry at the top.
