Tech/Engineering - Engineering (general) / landfill management
French term or phrase: non évolutifs à l’échelle du temps de la mesure
See right at the end of the paragraph below, taken from a document about landfill management and techniques.

I am slightly confused by the way this is written in the French. Does that last bit mean something like this:

'...They also showed that the Archie’s law (the empirical law of soils which links water content and resistivity) could be applied to a 1m3 sample from waste which does not change during the measurement time' ?

Would be most grateful for enlightenment, as right now I am not sure. Thanks in advance.

English translation:not changing over the measurement timescale
Explanation:
This means that the measurements were sufficiently quick that the measurand did not change during them.
One other thing: surely conductivity is dependent on temp, not the other way round? This is certainly how usually expressed! Later implied by "2% per deg C".

"invariant" sounds a bit more technical!

agree  Bourth (X): I suspect they R talking about the temp. inside a body of decomposing waste (compost), which may well B affected by the conductivity of the waste, i.e. this is not electrical conductivity. W. a panhandle, the temp where U hold depends on th. conductivity.

-> Archie's law does relate resistivity to porosity and hence percolation, so I think conductivity is electrical here. Depends on how you interpret "dependance de...sur..."
