French to English translations [PRO] Social Sciences - Environment & Ecology
French term or phrase:en parcours and un parcours
UNE VISITE ORGANISÉE EN PARCOURS EXPERTS qui proposent aux parties prenantes de résoudre concrètement des problématiques telles que la réduction de leur facture énergétique et de leur empreinte écologique, ou encore la valorisation de leurs actifs fonciers et industriels... Un parcours formation débouchant sur un pôle emploi est également proposé.
I would be grateful if someone could assist with the translation oft he above, more specifically with "parcours" which occurs on two occasions. It seems to be something to do with a journey. I have come up with the following so far:
AN ORGANISED VISITE IN ... who propose to participating parties of concretely resolving problems such as the reduction of their energy bill and ecological footprint, and the evaluation of their land and industrial assets...An education overview approaching a... is equally proposed.
(what would be the definition of un pôle emploi also SVP?)
Un parcours formation débouchant sur un pôle emploi est également proposé.
An instruction track leading to the use of an employment center is also being proposed.
Explanation: "parcours experts": specialized visits, as in "une nouvelle formule de visite, les « parcours experts ». Guidés par un spécialiste, les participants pourront tout apprendre sur..." (see web reference)
"parcours formation": instruction track (nothing to do with journey).
Personally I'd change the last sentence to an active one.
Finally, make sure you don't leave the "e" at the end of "visite" in your English version.
