This is the context within which the term has been used:Ce paradoxe apparent s'explique par l'importance des avantages fiscaux dont bénéficient les produits sans risque (livrets, obligations, assurance-vie en euro), et par le fait que les dépenses fiscales en faveur de la détention d'actions sont relativement concentrées.
and this is my translation:
This apparent paradox is explained by the amount of tax benefits that come with risk free products (“livrets” (*) deposit accounts, bonds and life insurance in euros), and by the fact that tax expenditure in favour of shareholding is relatively lumped.
But I am not satisfied with my translation. This document is my coursework.
