French term or phrase: incidence en taux des frais de dossier
Hi. I wondered if anyone could help me with this. It comes under 'Renseignements financiers', in a mortgage approval document. I found this link which sheds some more light on the phrase but am still unsure how to translate it:

http://www.pass.fr/tout-sur-pass/infos-pratiques/glossaire.h...

Is it 'costs as a percentage of loan fees' or something like that? If anyone could help I would be very grateful - thanks :-)

What exactly you call these "frais de dossier" will depend on what they have been called throughout the rest of your document, as companies seem to use different expressions, though the idea is the same; for mortgages, I've even seen "setting-up fee/charge"

agree  Rob Grayson: Yes, Tony, that's it - effect/impact of fees/charges on overall rates. Googling this search term will mostly bring up refs to the definition of "TEG", and specifically how much of the overall rate is accounted for by these charges.

-> Thanks, Rob! I know that sometimes hefty charges can add a "hidden" ¼% or whatever...

agree  Charles Hawtrey: My (UK) mortgage has a Tariff of Charges. Nearly all of them are fixed per item, but one is a straight percentage - so "percentage effect of administration charges" seems OK to me.
