Of course, this is probably really 'periode DE promesse', I suspect. I am translating a very bare list of terms, without much surrounding context, probably for use online ultimately. The text would appear to be referring to some sort of shares or stock options, options that can be 'taken up' or 'exercised' or whatever. I said I would do my best with it (although not keen on translating things in isolation like this).
I did search the glossaries and found some entries for 'promesse' in similar contexts... and wondered if they are talking about the 'return' on the shares... some sort of guaranteed return, perhaps? Is anyone familiar with this financial term - because I'm not!
