French to English translations [PRO]
Bus/Financial - Finance (general)
French term or phrase: crédits non comptabilisés
Responsable des comptes fournisseurs = Faire le suivi sur les états de comptes des factures non payées ou de crédits non comptabilisés = I’m not sure how to translate “credits non comptabilises” even after doing extensive research. I decided on “unrecorded credit” but I don’t know very much about accounting, so I’m not certain this is correct.

Thank you for your help!

unaccounted credits

Explanation:
Credits that are not accounted for, i.e., are not yet on the books.

I think it could refer to looking to through various accounts with suppliers and clients to find whether there are any credits that have somehow not made it onto the books.

Explanation:
I've translated "non-comptabilisé" in this way frequently without complaint.

credit items not yet recognised

Explanation:
"Unrecorded" suggests that something has been left off the books, possibly deliberately. "Unaccounted" (for) suggests something that may be unsupported by evidence.

A better choice for 'comptabilisé' here (and often elsewhere) is "recognised", which means entered as an income statement or balance sheet item. Items may be known but not yet recognised because the accounting requirements for recognition have not been met.
