I can't seem to get this sentence at all.

And the OED doesn't like "torrefaction", "torrefied", etc. - not listed.

agree  emiledgar: Since coffee beans are always greem before being roasted, I think the "vert" means "raw' and is unnecessary how about: "Completely raosted coffee beans"?
