French term or phrase: contrat d'assurance "dommages tous accidents"
I saw this question (or a very similar one) was posted already, but the way it was asked and answered, I wasn't absolutely sure whether "dommages tous accidents" by itself means comprehensive (auto) insurance. From all the research I've done on the internet, looking at French car insurance policies, I feel like "dommages tous accidents" might be a sub-set of what is covered under "assurance tous risques". In other words, doesn't "assurance tous risques" cover things that aren't covered by "dommages tous accidents" alone, such as theft, vandalism, hail, damage from rocks on the highway, etc.? Or, alternatively, are these two phrases different names for exactly the same thing / exactly the same coverage? If there is some slight difference in what is covered, does anyone have a suggestion as to how to render the difference?
