Not a lot of context I'm afraid. The "salle" is a computer room, it's the "ondulée" I'm having trouble with. It may have something to do with uninteruptable power supply but that's a stab in the dark...

neutral  Martin Cassell: Miranda, I'm not sure this is how to read the example you give: I would parse it rather as "(UPS (((computer room) protection) system))" -- it's the protection system which is further specified as UPS, not the room
