French to English translations [PRO]
Law/Patents - Law (general) / Articles of association
French term or phrase: la Société existe entre
From a company's articles of association:

I'm having trouble wording what is meant by 'existe entre' the shareholders. Has anyone come across this before or can anyone come up with a good suggestion? Would it be too baldly literal to say 'is jointly owned by its shareholders'? Many thanks.

agree  Sylvia Smith: yes, I would agree that "the company exists..." could be used here, even if it sounds akward at first
