Hi all,
Does this term ring any bells with anyone ? Normally, I would have translated it as "appellate brief", but that doesn't really seem to work in this context.


"La recourante, qui obtient gain de cause, a droit à des dépens, à charge de I'AFC. En l'absence de note d'honoraires, ceux-ci seront fixés à Fr. 9'000.-, compte tenu de la nature de la cause et de son degré de complexité, de ****l'écriture de recours****, des observations du 9 mai 2016 et de la requête de mesures (super)provisionnelles."

Reference information:
I agree with AllegroTrans and started looking for reliable sources supporting his answer. I found the following documents from Swiss law courts, in which they use interjeter with recours, which happens to be the verb that the French use with appel. So it looked right.

Except that in this document (http://www.bger.ch/fr/wege_zum_bundesgericht.pdf), you find both recours and appel. Could they be two different things (or for different law courts, etc.)?
