d\'y tenir la main
to assis therein

Explanation:
It's not ordering prosecutors to actually enforce the order but to assist bailiffs in doing so

neutral  philgoddard: I don't think this is a meaningful distinction. If they assist bailiffs, they're helping to enforce the order.

-> Literally; hold their hands = assist them. Prosecutors don't dirty their hands distraining on goods and evicting people but in term of admin. they assist bailiffs and enforcement officers, e.g. by signing and stamping documents etc. etc.

neutral  ph-b: Tenir la main = to be in charge, to make sure the job gets done (cf. prendre la main= to take charge). Also, prosecutors are higher up than bailiffs. Can you really say that they "assist" them?/Please see ref. re: procs.
1 hr
-> The Court itself (juge d'exécution) is in charge of enforcement and the bailiffs carry it out and report back to the Court; prosecutors asfaik have no direct role, thus they only "assist" or "facilitate" as necessary

That's how French judgments, etc. must be drafted so they can be enforced legally. There's probably a Canadian (?) English equivalent.

About French procureurs

They are involved in the enforcement/upholding of judgments in criminal cases (which appears to be the case here, otherwise the judge wouldn’t have used this formule exécutoire).

Cf.
https://www.service-public.fr/particuliers/vosdroits/F1779
