Still on an ioniser generator patent, and this word comes up when dealing with the humid filter of the appliance to improve air quality.
This is the sentence -
"L'utilisation d'un filtre à chicane humides à l'entrée de l'air ambiant dans l'appareil permet de corriger, dans une certaine mesure, une sécheresse éventuelle excessive de cet air et favorise le bon fonctionnement de la partie ionificatrice.
I cannot find a word for this in English anywhere, can anybody help me please?
