Can anyone help with this expression in the following context:
"La caution renonce à se prévaloir :
De toutes subrogations, de toutes actions personnelles ou autres qui auraient pour résultat de faire venir la caution en concours avec le bailleur tant que ce dernier n'aura pas été désintéressé de la totalité des sommes en principal, intérêts, commissions, frais et accessoires qui lui seront dues."

I think "competition" has got to be the meaning here, though I've never seen it used in this way.
