French term or phrase:contrat à distance
This means a contract over the internet therefore not one signed by the hand of the two parties. I thought of "telecontract" but am not happy with it. Any suggestions???
Explanation: The buzz-word for buying and selling on the Internet is "e-commerce", so assuming the contract is for goods and services, perhaps e-commerce agreement? (though Susan's "online contract" sounds a lot neater).
Explanation: I like e-agreement, also. Whichever term you choose will depend on the tone of the rest of the document. If it's formal, I would use online contract; if it's semi-formal, internet agreement; if it's somewhat informal, e-agreement would be a good word to coin.
