Law/Patents
French term or phrase: Civ.
A quotation from French jurisprudence says "Civ. 22 juin 1976". Can anyone tell me the real title of this document/publication? (This has to do with commercial law, so the Civil Code is a big doubt).

English translation:Civil Division
Explanation:
I did a quick Google search and found that Civ. and Ch. Civ. are used interchangeably. Ch. Civ. seems to be short for "Chambre Civile".

Here's what Termium has for that:

1. Subject Field(s)
– Provincial Government Bodies (Canadian)
– Civil Law

Subject Field(s)
– Organismes provinciaux gouvernementaux canadiens
– Droit civil

Civil Division Source CORRECT Chambre civile Source CORRECT, FEM

Hope that works in your context.

(82) Cass. 1re civ., 10 janvier 1981, Bull. civ.

civile.
