Any chance it might be "Coup Par Coup", or "jogging", when a mahine is "stepped" of "jogged" through one operation at a time? When setting up a machine, this is common practice, so that if anything has been incorrectly positioned, the machine won't run beyond the bit of mangling and get entirely knackered.

This would sort of fit with "initialisation".

And I will admit now I first read this as "marché" (given the number of people here who don't use accents).

OK, give it a CL of 4 now, even if "coup par coup" is not, I don't think, standard terminology.

The reference below concerts an "encartonneuse".

"pas à pas" is more standard for this "inching" operation.

Thank You. I think that in this case you are right about coup par coup because in another section of the document: "Defaut Machine: - coup par coup, - initialisation machine, etc.

disagree  Johannes Gleim: CPC should be a unit like "Centre Position Contact", "Change-Pole controller", or some other unit. It's surely no stipulation, as the item is controlled by the flag "M129.1"
