that's a good way to put it commercially (horizontal diversification) Explanation: But I've found it as a buzz word in intellectual circles for "interpenetration", "interdisciplinary", "interaction between disparate poles", etc. Seeing it from above, it could look like a kind of omnipresence, but there's really a lot that you can do with that one.
