French term or phrase: gigogne
I know this can mean "nested" as in nested tables, but I'm not sure how to translate it in a marketing context:

And does anyone know what TAN refers to?

Thanks much! Karen

TAN = tronque d'assortiment national

gigogne in GDT is pullout bed, stowaway bed; as the text indicates it could be some kind of foldaway display to accommodate variation in display shelves in stores.

I FINALLY heard back from the agency and this is what these terms stand for:
1) lineaires gigognes - I was told "gigognes" means "superposes" so I translated the term as "stacked shelving"
2) tronc d'assortiment national - national restocking system common to whole chain

Paolo, thanks very much for finding TAN for me and for your suggestion for "gigognes." Karen
