Medical - Medical: Pharmaceuticals
French term or phrase: appar. ADD privés
"évapo. privés, pomp.privés, appar. ADD privés"

These terms appear in a tax assemessment notice from the French tax authorities to a company which produces pharmeutical appliances. The company had eliminated
various sums from the base for business tax and the tax authorities want to add them back. It relates to fixed assets loaned to hospitals and laboratories. They must refer to equipment, any ideas?

Immobilisation en euros
Eliminations évapo.privés ... (amount in euros)
Eliminations pomp.privés ... (amount in euros)
Eliminations appar.ADD privés ... (amount in euros)

I'm guessing that "appar" stands for "appareils".

So,

You could well be right about "appareils".

p.s

What was confusing initially was that "ADD" was in Caps, so it was fortuitous I found the above ref.

I am going to go for "pompes"....don't see what it could be otherwise, IF it is masculine.

Thanks for your help. I asked the client, who told me not to translate ADD and that "appar" was short for "appareils". I deduced that the "privés" referred to the taxpayer's elimination of these amounts....
