French term or phrase: retour d'exposition

Canine ringworm text: I am not sure if this means "recurring exposure" or something along the lines of back-exposure, such as of dog 1 from dog 2 that had initially been infected by dog 1. Possibly I'm over-working this and it simply means re-exposure. Any input (as always) is much appreciated.

Explanation:
Could it mean the case when the animals have been out and exposed to contamination from sick animals? I found this on "retours d'exposition":

"Dans l’élevage, il est conseillé :

D’isoler (ou d’éliminer) les animaux malades ou positifs aux tests de laboratoire et de les traiter (s’il y a lieu).

De s'occuper des animaux malades en dernier (médication, traite, etc.) et de bien désinfecter l'équipement après l’utilisation.

De revêtir des vêtements protecteurs et des gants.

De placer les animaux en quarantaine lorsqu’ils viennent d’être achetés ou lors de retours d'exposition.

I think it's the interpretation, but re-exposed, re-exposure qualified by 'infection' sounds better than the same unqualified.
