the lateral hole is located away from the tip of the needle (this is the "orifice reculé". One could also use "side-opening".

These needle are non-cutting (no bevel tip). This is the reference to the foam tip. Haven't seen it translated as such. Must be the reference to "atraumatic tip" in the literature.
