I cannot stand that word disorder.....

they are actually referring to ailments arising from the mind as in psychosomatic

ailments NOT disorders which is an American word that presupposes that there is order and disorder when in fact it makes much better sense to think of having an ailment that causes suffering and a lack thereof

in any case, in the realm of the psyche, i would use AILMENTS
