Deifnitely! I know this as I am a professional researcher in Chemistry. I don't go around asking questions for which the answer can be researched. It's just that sometimes I am not sure Google will
give me an unambigous answer, and if there is not much time, I feel like asking an expert! that's the
only reason. It's not laziness or anything else.. as you pointed, it's more time consuming to ask a
question than to Google...
