French term or phrase: topographie centro-médullaire
Conclusion to a chest CT scan report: "Stabilité de la taille de la masse lingulaire, très suspecte, s'accompagnant de multiples micronodules de topographie centro-médullaires à contours flous...". On Google, "topography" only seems to appear in medical documents by non-native speakers, so I doubt it's the right term in medical English. I presume it's referring to the surface appearance of the micronodules, but would be grateful for guidance as to how best to express it. TIA.
