French term or phrase: cadre colique
absence d'epaisseissement décelable au niveau de l'iléon et du cadre colique

I have discovered that the "cadre colique" is the name used to refer to the "caecum, côlon ascendant ou côlon droit, colôn transverse, côlon descendane ou côlon gauche". So basically the whole colon area. Is there a more specific term for this in English? Also, could someone confirm that "epaississement" is "thickening" in this context?
