French term or phrase:fixant
I see there is an earlier entry with "fixant," but I'm not sure about the wording in my example.
...devant l'apparition d'adénopathies axillaires et inguinales fixant au PET TDM...
Does "fixant" here mean that there was contrast uptake in the axillary and inguinal lymph nodes?
Or could fixant mean "defined?"
I would appreciate any help with this - thank you!
@Liz: Thank you, your previous entry on this term is what I was referring to in my question. I just couldn't work out how to incorporate your information into my sentence : ) I just looked at it again, and I could probably have said "showing uptake" on PET-CT, but I like dwt2's simple solution of "postive on PET-CT." Thanks as always for your help!
