French term or phrase: sans signe d'engagement
Hello everyone,

This is in a head CT scan without contrast.

What is confusing me is that this is the end of the sentence.

Here is the full sentence:

Apparition d'un nouvel hématome intra parenchymateux front-pariétal droit responsable d'un oedème périphérique, sans signe d'engagement.

If it said "sans signe d'engagement de la ligne médiane," I would know it was "with no sign of involvement of the midline structures" or "with no midline shift."

Is it possible that that is exactly was is meant to be understood here? If that is the case I could put:

..."responsible for peripheral edema, with no sign of involvement [of the median structures.]

I'd love to know your thoughts!
Thanks,
Denise
