He has a possible post-infectious/drug-induced rash on the leg.

The histology findings describe: "kératinocytes augmentés de volume, laqués, avec plusieurs noyaux" "évoquant une infection herpétique"

I am stumped by the laqué.....

DYSKARIOTIC CELLS: are intermediate or parabasal cells with an orange opaque cytoplasm and dense lacquered nucleus. These elements are not specific to one particular type of lesion and can be observed in leucoplasia, viral lesions due to HPV but also in certain differentiated cancers.
