French term or phrase: Cynognostique
Part of a title of an article related to dog morphology and mechanics. I have considered "Canine Science" which is a field of study, but in French sites have found "Cynologie" for this . A Francophone vet suggested "Canine Diagnostics" but had never seen this particular term. Might it be "Cynognostics"?Thanks for your help.
Sorry- the French should be "Cynognostique" of course, not "cynognostics" as written a few seconds ago.

English translation:canine diagnostics
Explanation:
Your suggestion is OK I think.
cyno- is definately canine.
As for "gnostique", it's very unlikely that a reference to philosophy (gnosis) is made here, so it probably is a colloquial abbreviation for "diagnostics". This is not uncommon.
