French to English translations [PRO]
French term or phrase:charley
This is in a text talking about synthesiser music - 'on a pris des samples des element rythmiques type caise claire et charleys'
Explanation: This is a percussion sound apparently peculiar to techno and similar crap. High frequency, often mentioned with cymbals. I had trouble trying to document this because search engines want to turn it into "Charley's". It turned up more on French pages than on English, so it may still be making its way into the latter.
