You know I am always going to miss you. Explanation: "Forever is a little too strong for this sentence. Note that "manquer" is one of those words that sounds like it's being used the opposite way in French and in English. In fact, it only sounds like that. In French, you say "Tu me manque", in English "I miss you". But in fact, in French we are really saying "You are missing from me (from my life)". Many bilingual people or people who are influenced by the English language, will mistakenly say "Je te manque", not realising that they are really saying "You miss me"! |
